Time to Talk Mental Health UK
We’re a social media peer support community for adults in the UK with mental health difficulties.
Time to Talk Mental Health UK is a fully private and confidential Facebook Community.
The community is highly interactive and fully moderated. We provide a safe place for people to talk about their mental health in confidence with others who understand.
In addition, we provide events, regular clubs and a library of resources.
The community enables consistent support, which is otherwise lacking in the mental health care package.
Another great poem this week, from Lauren Ruddock. I think it’s one that we can all relate to, and is called “What’s going on?”
This is the 24th poem from our book “Creative Expressions”, with lots of poems and artwork in, all created by our members.
We are so excited to offer the book for you, either in paperback or Kindle format. Thanks to the Evelyn Trust, we will receive ALL the purchase price you pay for the book for the next few months.
Keep a look out on social media and we will share snippets of the book.

National Lottery Fund
We’re delighted to tell you that Time to Talk Mental Health UK was recently awarded funding of £7,350 from the National Lottery Community Fund.
Our plan now is to deliver a Wellbeing Programme of events and activities for members like you that will predominantly focus on living with mental health conditions and arts and crafts.
However, you are the experts by experience, so in the near future we will post up a link to a questionnaire to ask you what type of activities and events you’d like to get involved in to help boost your wellbeing.
Everyone involved with running Time to Talk Mental Health UK is super excited about this wonderful development, and we hope you are too.
It’d be really fantastic if members embraced and got involved with the events we organise, because if our Wellbeing Programme is a success, there’s a much stronger chance we’ll secure extra funding in the future.
We know that these uncertain times are causing additional #anxiety for many of us.
Impartially, without judgement or prejudice.
Without question, expectation or obligation.
Ensuring everyone has the right to be heard.
