Parallel Lives

Free to Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.
We aim to assist parents at an early intervention level, where communication has broken down regarding contact, to avoid court proceedings and social service intervention/escalation.  The programme will benefit families where there are allegations of domestic abuse, parental alienation and/or parental conflict. The programme is also suitable where relationships have become volatile, and parents wish to remain together. The programme incorporates a combination of behaviour change programmes, victim programmes, parenting programmes, and child development programmes, and was built on three years of research and feedback from clients and professionals.  We work with whole family systems where possible, ensuring that we work with a holistic approach.  We use a number of techniques such as Motivational Interviewing, CBT, case studies, group work and role plays.
