Launched on World Mental Health Day, 10 October 2025, the Poetry of the Peers, brings together over 60 different poems written by Peer Supporters in different networks.
Each poem is written by individuals who’ve faced and overcome incredibly tough times. These pieces are honest and deeply moving—and within their words, you’ll find glimmers of hope, resilience, and healing.
We have a few videos below sharing some of the poems in the book. If you’d like a copy of the book, you can purchase it through Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0FTSBK6GY
If you have time, take a look at the recording of the launch call, it’s just over an hour long, but shares information about the peer support networks involved, showcases some excellent poems, read by the authors, and introduces you to a poetry podcast “The Ditty Bag”that aims to share a 15 minute clip of food for the soul every week,
A big thank you for all the people who joined the call, and for Claire, Jon, Giles, Rebecca, Glen, Sinead, Lesley, Laura, Mark, Jess, Dorothy & Barry for their contributions in the call.
