We are delighted to start our Positive Minds Wellbeing Programme, with monthly resilience sessions, designed especially for the Time To Talk Mental Health peer to peer community, (funded by our award from the Lottery Community Fund).

Resilience Voyage is an organisation that helps people build and maintain resilience by understanding the way we think, feel and behave. They’re passionate about understanding the way that humans think and feel as this underpins everything that we do. When we are able to understand the ‘why’ behind our behaviour we can truly start to make changes to enable us to build our resilience to life.

Meet the team at Resilience Voyage – Stacey and Kerry

Stacey and Kerry started Resilience Voyage 4 years ago, after working their way through their own traumas and adversities which led to mental health issues. Stacey has Borderline Personality Disorder from childhood abuse and neglect and Kerry has Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from a domestic violence relationship.

They have both worked in various fields supporting others with their lives in general as well as their mental health. This alongside their own personal experiences has given them a wealth of knowledge, training and qualifications to guide and support others. Before starting Resilience Voyage, Kerry has worked as treatment manager for offending behaviour programmes in a Life Sentence Only Prison, Managed a ‘Behaviour Unit’ in a school and worked as a Targeted Youth Support worker. Stacey’s background is in youth work, where she was running youth clubs, developing workshops for young people, and helping young people in supported living accommodation.

These forthcoming live event series (including two workshops) will run between October 2021 to September 2022.

If you would like to attend these sessions, you can by becoming a member of Time to Talk Mental Health UK, a private and confidential peer to peer Facebook group.  Click here to our website to join.
